From 2009 until 2013 we lived in this ranch style home in Enterprise, Alabama. The house was built in 1983 and was in pretty good shape other than having it’s original and some bad DIY updates. During our four years in the house we made lots of improvements including updating the kitchen. I took pictures of the renovations but at the time I was not blogging so the pictures were mostly for my documentation. That also means did not take pictures of the entire house, but since I am feeling nostalgic I thought I would share anyway.
Our first major project was the kitchen which you may have seen in an earlier post HERE

We also tackled some large and small fireplace dilemmas…

You can read the details of how we got to the after HERE
The small dilemma in the second living space…
We also added bamboo flooring in these two spaces as well as in the master bedroom.

I wish I had taken more pictures of the rest of the house but hopefully, these give you enough of a peek.
In the end, we loved the results of all our work. I still miss our big living space and our nice new kitchen.

I adore the updates I hope the new owners appreciated them and did have to remodel the areas shown.

Thanks Jean, This house we actually still own and rent out. Hopefully the renters enjoy it as much as we did.

I am from Enterprise, AL as well. It’s quite a surprise to find someone else on Pinterest of all places from Enterprise as well! Love the pictures!

Thanks Kim, Sorry for the delay in writing back, I have been away from blogging for a little while but am getting back to it. Hope you’ll follow along. We have been stationed at Ft. Rucker twice and still have lots of friends and family in Enterprise, it has very fond memories.
