For two years I hoseted Thrift Score Thursday with its founder Brynne from The Gathered Home and Cassie from Cassie Bustamante but we parted ways in 2017 when we all went on to pursue other endeavors. But today #ThriftScoreThursday is back! So if Are you an avid thrifter who delights in uncovering hidden treasures and unique, budget-friendly items? If so you just found an online community of individuals like you to share and celebrate your most cherished thrift finds.
Let me explain just what #ThriftScoreThursday is in case you missed out on the first go-round. I want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. I want to see your good deals, wacky finds, and treasures and how you style them in your home. To do this tag you photos with #ThriftScoreThursday when you post them on Instagram and I will share my favorites the first Thursday of every month.
Don’t feel like you need to save those finds for Thursdays! Yes, features are shared on the blogs once a month and on Instagram on Thursdays, but I’ll be checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it! And I love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!
Seems like a community you resonate with? Then #ThriftScoreThursday is the ideal space for you to connect with like-minded individuals, showcase your treasures, and draw inspiration from others. It’s a celebration of thriftiness, sustainability, and the art of making your discoveries truly shine in your daily life. Don’t hesitate to jump in and participate, and remember to use the hashtag #ThriftScoreThursday when you share your finds and creations, so others can appreciate and celebrate your thrifty triumphs!
