It’s finally time for decorating the Christmas tree. I am pretty committed to decorating the tree after Thanksgiving so if you are already fully decorated for Christmas you are doing way better than me. My current Christmas decor is in the picture above but each year I like to change it up just a bit. Whether it’s a new DIY I’ve added or a new color ornament, my Christmas decor is constantly evolving. If you are looking to update your Christmas tree you don’t have to start from scratch. Take a look at these Christmas tree decorating ideas that just might inspire you to take your decor in a new direction.
Go Boho
For a boho-inspired theme try warm earth tones and organic textures like wood and rope. Copper tones work well when creating a warm Boho color scheme.
Go Rainbow
Can’t decide on just one color, try the whole rainbow. Just arranging ornaments by color could give your existing decor a whole new look.
Go Glam
If you are looking for a more formal look for the gold. Gold is always lux, I love it paired with black and white but it will really blend with any color.
Go Monochromatic
Can’t decide on a color combination just choose one color. When you pair a single color with silver it will add sparkle and reflect that color back.
Go Floral
There are plenty of flowering trees but have you ever considered a flowering Christmas tree? Choose any color floral picks and tuck them right into the tree for a burst of flowers.
Go Vintage
If simple is more your game, go vintage. Vintage ornaments and ribbon trim are tried and true for a delicate tree that feels like home.
So, If you are stuck with your current Christmas decor maybe one of these design ideas will inspire you to try a new look. Whatever Christmas tree decorating idea you decide to use just remember decorating is for fun and the real joy is in spending time with those you love and enjoying the season.
