I’m not one to start completely over on holiday decor for every occasion. This year my Thanksgiving tablescape is no different. I’m using decor from last year’s table with the addition of several DIYs. With just a few small projects I built a Thanksgiving tablescape full of DIYs that also didn’t break the bank.
In addition to my aqua and plum-colored glass pumpkins from last year, I added the leopard print fabric-covered pumpkins DIY I made this year for Halloween.
In between, I nestled in the golden pinecone acorns I shared earlier this month.
I also worked on another DIY acorn. Using real acorn tops and felt balls I create colorful place card holders for each place setting. These acorns I also scattered around the centerpiece and even hung a few from my fall-colored floral arrangement.
I added warm rope chargers to each place setting to add texture. Finally, I made my own leopard print napkins out of sturdy cotton fabric I hemmed to size. If you are not a sewer you can find all varieties of leopard print napkins like these on Spoonflower.com. (affiliate links)
Here are a few other items you might add for some leopard accents.
By blending last year’s decor with this year’s DIYs I was able to create a whole new Thanksgiving tablescape. Bonus, I was able to use what I already had with having to spend a lot of money to get a whole new look.
