The Fashion
Do you ever find a color combination that keeps catching your eye? One you keep going back to over and over again? That combination may just be the new fashion for your home. One I am always crushing on is blush and emerald-green. In fashion and in the home these two colors are always a favorite of mine.
The mix of jewel and pastel tones is always a great combination, especially an emerald or dark green paired with pale pink or blush. But it is not just because it’s pretty, it’s a kind of science. They work because green and pink are complimentary, sitting opposite each other on the traditional color wheel. That means they enhance each other but in a less contrasting and harsh way than green and red. I guess that means you can’t help but love them.
Let’s take a look…
The Inspiration
I’ve shared this showroom by Oly Studios in the past. It is always a favorite of mine.
This blush and emerald bedroom was actually the inspiration for my own master bedroom transformations.
and don’t forget this one…
I just can’t get enough of this office!
I have run across so many interiors in this color combination that appeal to me in a huge way.
Whether it is used in a traditional setting…
Somewhere more modern…
Or even a combination of the two
This color pairing just seems to work.
Do you see the harmony of these two colors and the appeal of this soothing color combination? I hope these aspirations have convinced you that blush and emerald green may just be the new fashion for your home.

I love them all but especially the vintage pink walls and green floor and dishes.
