As I begin bringing together the final pieces of the guest room (You can see the progress HERE, HERE, and HERE) I have been giving a lot of thought to Hollywood Regency art options. The art does not all need to be the same theme but I do want it all to be colorful. On the wallpapered walls art with simple backgrounds will stand out best and the busier designs will be going on the solid pink walls. Have a look at some of my choices.
I was inspired to do my own painting to fill the oddly sized space over the bed but the split Urban Garden Prints butterflies. This won’t be the only spot that gets some Urban Garden flare. They have generously gifted me a set of prints to hang over the day bed. The problem was deciding which ones to choose.
I shared on my IG stories that my husband bought me a piece of Mary Singleton Original Art for Christmas. You would not believe how well her beautiful tropical paintings go with the new wallpaper.

The Banana Palm Life wallpaper also inspired me to choose some banana art. I thought these were a little bit kitch and a lot of fun, plus I love a pop of yellow.
And of course my typewriter painting I painted years ago is still around and the colors work perfectly. I painted my own but here are a few with a similar feel.
Blue Retro Typewriter // Pink Typewriter Painting // Pink Typewriter Love
T.S. Harris, Swan Dive // Bondi Beach Art Print // Tigers At The Pool Art Print // Palm Beach Pool // Poolside Glamour
Finally, what Hollywood Regency Guest room would be complete without some poolside images. I think the Tigers at the Pool may be my favorite. If you check out Paul Fuentes Photos you can find all sorts of animals doing all sorts of fun things.
When it comes to art there are so many beautiful Hollywood Regency art options. Now I just need to make some final decisions and we will be one step closer to the final reveal.
