Bring It On 2022
It’s a new year and I’m ready to seize the day or year I guess. I know I tend to be rather erratic with my “It’s Friday, High Five” posts but I figured I could at least start the year off right. What happens after that? I can make no promises.
The end of 2021 was a whirlwind of activities with my daughter’s graduation from LSU and a trip to New Orleans for Christmas. We did a good bit of traveling and had lots of family events which was nice but can also be exhausting. I am glad to be home and getting settled back into a routine.
I know there are lot’s of Memes out there about 2021, wishing it gone, but over all it wasn’t a bad year for me. For one, I decide to come back to blogging after an almost two year hiatus. That means I get to see you more often. My day job at Home Solutions of Sumter has remained busy and we have had work all through the pandemic. And I have accomplished quite a few goals including my back entry hall and kitchen One Room Challenges. Overall not a bad year, not perfect but not bad. I do share the sentiment that it would nice to go back to a place of not constantly worring and having the ability to plan a head, but that I have no control over. What I do have control over, is what I do in the meantime.
Time to buckle down! I have lots of projects planned for 2022 that I am excited to share with you. Some I may have mentioned before and some are things that just popped into my head recently so I hope you’ll stick around to see what I have up my sleave. Hope it’s a great year!
So let’s get to my High Five…
