One of my favorite things about the One Room Challenge, aside from completing my own space, is seeing all the amazing reveals. Not only do I see the reveals of long-time favorite designers I often find designers that I have never run across before and can add to my list of favorites. This round was no exception. You know I am a maximalist and never one to shy away from color so today I thought I’d share a few One Room Challenge participants who are part of my tribe. These designers are colorful, bold, fearless, and definitely, ones to follow.
Ones to Follow
I have been a long-time follower and friend of Jewel Marlowe of Jeweled Interiors and she never disappoints when it comes to color. She actually completed three rooms for this One Room Challenge so you will want to stop by and take a look at all three of her bold interiors.
Kaviya Ravi of @Kaviyanc is an account I ran across for the first time this fall and I love her collected style. As a vintage lover and thrifter, I appreciate her layered collected look and of course her bold color choices.
Felicia at Hello home, girl! is a star at bold patterns and layered color and here budget-friendly style is accessible to everyone.
For some candy-colored inspiration check out Rebecca at Rebecca Propes. This leopard print stair runner and pink handrail are to die for, and her kitty cat is pretty cute too.
Zoe McCarthy @1895_house created a bedroom with a bold color combination combined with black and white. The black and white make for a beautiful backdrop that really makes her colors pop.
Laurel Harry @Thehousethatdiybuilt created a bathroom that is so happy I could cry. I considered this tile in black and white for my own kitchen remodel but the pink by far wins the prize. I love that she wasn’t scared to make bold choices even on items as permanent tile.
Katherine Thewlis of Hausmatters Interiors combines bold colors and glam style with a dramatic wall mural making a magnificent dining space.
Beth Dianna Smith of Beth Dianna Smith Interior Design used bold moody shades to create a relaxing bedroom space. I love patterns but she uses several solid colors that seem to work perfectly together.
There was so much style this go round and so many beautiful spaces. I have shared my Fall 2021 ORC Reveal favorites but there are so many more at One Room Challenge Blog and on Instagram at #OneRoomChallenge.
