This Post Sponsored by Tempaper but all thoughts and opinions are my own
I love a blank slate so as soon as I found out we’d be building out a new Home Solutions of Sumter office space the gears started turning. I have had a thing for navy and gold for a while and knew I wanted a mix of masculine and feminine so what better blend with navy and gold than blush. The hunt was on for the perfect launching point until I found this Rackers hand knotted area rug with perfect colors.
Once I had my inspiration I started shopping my house for accessories. I’m taking my home office desk to the new office but otherwise I was unsure what else. When the rug arrived I saw my side chairs (also in my home office) matched perfectly and a quick coat of paint on the doors of my formerly green cabinet makes it a perfect match too. I also found a runner for the entry at a local consignment shop that matches the bigger rug just right. Daisy approves too!
You can see below how we are building out the space. The back office will be for the contractor and I will have an open office up front with a small kitchenette in between. I’d like to make the bathroom a little “jewel box,” more on that later.
We are installing recessed lights throughout the space but I’m planning to add a few fun fixtures shown below as well in the entry and over my desk.
But what I’m really excited about is the addition on this great Pop Wave removable wallpaper supplied by Tempaper.
I’ve used Tempaper before in my living room and upstairs bathroom and I love it more every time. My biggest problem is always deciding which one to use. Here are a few of the other contenders. Goodnight Moon, Layered Love and Peonies
This go round the Pop Wave won out because of the touch of blush that complimented the items I’ll be using in the rest of the space. Now we just need to get everything trimmed and painted so I can get to work on the fun stuff.
