This post is sponsored by Serena and Lily but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Last week I shared my plans for my daughter’s bathroom starting with the installation of removable wallpaper. This week it’s time for styling. I’m super excited because I was lucky enough to have to Serena and Lily contact me about sharing my thoughts on one of their products. I am a huge fan of their products so I already knew exactly what it would be. I love bamboo anything so of course the Lanai Mirror was on the top of my list and just so happened to be perfect for this project.
I started with a bathroom that was pretty builder boring with some dated wallpaper and with not too much effort ended up with a fun bathroom with a cool modern mix.
This was my plan…
and here is where I ended up…
The larger 30″ x 40″ Lania Mirror hung horizontally over my 42″ vanity works perfectly. Although the mirror has a delicate look it is quite heavy and very well made. I was also impressed with the packing when it arrived, each bamboo point was wrapped and padded for safe shipping so it arrived in perfect condition.
The vanity got a budget makeover with coat of black paint and new modern pulls for now but I’d still love to replace the faucet or maybe the whole vanity sometime in the future.
But for now I’m happy with how the new paint works with the white wallpaper.
As for the rest of the accessories, a few I bought new for this space like these towel hooks which my daughter requested instead of a bar
And a few canisters from TJMaxx which I repainted the lids with gold paint.
But the art and shelving were re-purposed from my daughter’s room in the old house. I also added a wire basket to the wall for a little added towel storage.
What do you think, was it worth the effort?
I’d say this was a mini makeover success, thanks to a little hard work and a fabulous Serena and Lily mirror!

Love that mirror, and your revamp of this bathroom! I am in a similar situation — we have a boring, builder-basic kids’ bathroom that’s in need of some love but I don’t want to go broke sprucing it up. Thanks for the inspo!
