Hello my friends, my favorite day of the week is here…#ThriftScoreThursday! I love that each week I get to share all my thrifted goodies. This week was one of those weeks when all the stars or at least the Foo Dogs aligned. I’m not usually a hunter of blue and white decor but when I went to an estate sale with tables and tables of it, I couldn’t help but be sucked in.
And seeing as there were Foo Dogs, lots and lots of Foo Dogs…how could I resist? Especially since I bought these guys on the third day of the sale when everything had dropped to half price.
Four Foo dogs and a super cool fish covered dish for around $25. I love me some chinoiserie!!
Now let’s have a closer look at what you found…
But first for the newcomers let me explain just what #ThriftScoreThursday is. We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and true treasures.
You can share your finds any day of the week but features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week-long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it! And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!
Each week Cassie from Cassie Bustamante, Corinna from A Designer At Home, Brynne from The Gathered Home, myself and occasionally a guest-host will pick a few favorite thrift scores to feature on our blogs! Please note that by linking up with #ThriftScoreThursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
My Favorites:
As long as we are talking chinoiserie I thought I’d share a few of my favorite you found.
I love anything faux bamboo or real bamboo for that matter, so when a saw jenniferdimplesandtangles, craigslist score I swooned a little. This little desk has some real potential!
This thrift update from ellegeestudio has met it’s potential with square brass handles and new coat of white paint.Looking good!
thericharmedlife scored a whole slew of all cupless saucers which she dreams of reuniting them with their mates but I think they are a pretty fabulous collection living single.
And who can end a chinoiserie fest without a little brass? thisatticvintage has had lots of brass finds lately, gotta love all of those critters!
What fun finds.
Now don’t forget to stop by and check out all my co-hosts to see what they’ve been up and their favorite #ThriftScoreThursday finds.

Those foo dogs! I’m not usually into blue and white either, but I think I definitely need some in my home now! That little fish dish is totally speaking to me too! 🙂

They actually had two fish dishes but I just bought the one.
