It’s time again for #ThriftScoreThursday and this week my find is pretty colorful. I actually bought this pretty little needlepoint pillow on a trip to Savannah where I did some antiquing with a friend. The pillow was sitting right in the front of the store on an orange mid-century chair the exact same color as my sofa. My mind said “Hmmm, I think I need this!”
The details were so amazing I figured it must be vintage maybe 1960’s but I saw the date on it was 1990. Of course, 1990 was 26 years ago so I guess it is vintage.
I fell in love with the colors and since I knew exactly where it would go at my house I checked the price. When I saw it was marked down to just $8 there was no question whether to buy it or not.
Now that it’s mine, it’s looking perfect on my little orange sofa.

When her cousin said she had some chairs she thought she’d like thisvintagegrove’s snatched them up. Now she doesn’t just like them, she loves them and so do I. Looks like the cat did too but a little fresh upholstery and these guys are perfect!

You gotta love when your thrifting mom is looking out for you. Ourdiydwelling’s mom found her this pretty little tea set. I might put her to work scoring some things for me.

Thanks SO MUCH for choosing my chairs! Yep, she let her cat use them as a scratching post! CUE ALL THE TEARS!!!!!!!!!! She said they were mint when she got them. Hope I can find some fabric that is similar. I even love the original color.

WOW! What finds! I love that needlepoint pillow! I snagged my favourite (and only one) at a huge outdoor garage sale a few years back. The finds are perfect – they’d do well in anyone’s living room!
