Happy Friday Guys! Well, my stay-cation is over and it’s time to get back to work…
Did you guys miss me? I missed you for sure but I have to say taking a little blog break was very nice. Without the worry of deadlines and scheduling I was able to get a lot done. Two big furniture projects that have been sitting in my garage for months are finally finished. High-five!!! This also means a lot more real estate in there. Today I say I’m not going to let it fill up again but let’s be real, I can’t pass up a bargain I can resell (or keep.) How about my goal is to not buy any more “bargains” that need a ton of work? At least that way I can get them turned over quickly and make some $$$. High-five to that for sure!
Glad to be back!
Here are a few more high-fives for the week…
1.I spotted this feature in Country Living on the home of Charleston based wedding planner Calder Clark. If you remember my 2016 One Room Challenge Reveal you know exactly why I’m in love with this photo. Clark’s collection of paper cut silhouettes is amazing, I think I need to add more to my collection ASAP.
2. A friend of mine recently shared this article by Design for Mankind titled Of Elder-Flowers and Jealousy and I thought it was such a great essay on jealousy and the internet that I’d share it here for you guys as well.
3.This Great Escapes wallpaper by The Elusive Otter is so beautiful. What an elegant take on flamingo wallpaper!
4. You know I’m a sucker for mid-century so I’m sure your not surprised by my love of the Majka Lamp by Urban Outfitters, but what I love even more is that it is on sale for $59.
5. When I ran across French artist Juliette Clovis I was amazing by her porcelain busts covered in birds and flowers and all sorts of delicate detail. Some are all white and some are colorful but all of them are beautiful.
Have a great weekend,
