Happy almost Earth Day guys, and what better way to celebrate than with some great thrift scores for #ThriftScoreThursday. Reduce, re-use, recycle! We thrifters are good at that. How’s your thrifting going this week? I have been taking it a bit easy but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been out hunting. I actually scored this coffee table at the Habitat Restore for just $15. Okay maybe I should clarify I actually scored 4 hairpin legs for $15 because the top of the table is made out of an old hollow core door that is completely falling apart. The top is not really the right size for my space anyway so I was okay with salvaging just the legs since they are easily removable and heavy gauge legs like these would have cost me at least $15 per leg had I bought them new.
I haven’t started on the new table top yet (because I’m neck-deep in the One Room Challenge) but through the magic of photo editing I created a mock-up of what I am considering.
Not bad, if only this could magically become reality.
Now for your #ThriftScoreThursday finds.
For newcomers let me explain just what #ThriftScoreThursday is. We want you to participate! Hit up your local thrift stores, craigslist, yard sales, estate sales, side of the road, anything! Thrifty doesn’t necessarily mean from a thrift store. We want to see your good deals, wacky finds and true treasures.
You can share your finds any day of the week but features are shared on our blogs and Instagram on Thursdays, but we’re all checking in on (and using!) the hashtag all week-long. So, when you see/find it, feel free to share it! And we love it when you tag your friends to play along, too!
Each week Cassie from Primitive and Proper, Corinna from A Designer At Home, Brynne from The Gathered Home, myself and occasionally a guest co-host will pick a few favorite thrift scores to feature on our blogs! Please note that by linking up with #ThriftScoreThursday, you are giving us permission to share your finds via social media or on our blogs.
My favorite finds:
JessicadWolf shared her collection of vintage tins, each one is so unique.
I am unbelievably jealous of PartyOfNine who scored these beauties off the side of the road , for FREE. What a pair!
GreenSpruceDesigns scored this vintage brass boot for $6 at my local thrift store, she thinks it might be an umbrella stand but is using it as a vase/planter for spring.
HeavyThreads found this kid sized chair that matches her house perfectly, and it doesn’t hurt that it is pretty dang cool!
Great finds everyone!
Now don’t forget to stop by and check out all my co-hosts to see what they’ve been up and their favorite #ThriftScoreThursday finds.
Would you like to be a guest host? If re you an avid blogger + Instagrammer who also loves thrifty finds? We’d love to have you join us for a week of Thrift Score Thursday! If you’re interested, you can apply right here!

Maggie, Your new car is divine, speaking of which don’t forget He has a plan for us and frequently it is not the plan we had for us! Glad it all worked out. Please give my best to Chuck and let him know that I will add him to my prayer list. Also, I would love to chat, visit, or meet you in Columbia. Send me an email and we can work out the details. Tell the kids I said, “Hello!”
Take care,

This is true! Definitely want to meet up soon, I’m usually in Columbia once a week or I could come to you. Did you get my last email? I didn’t get a response so I wasn’t sure.
