Well, I have to say this week has been a busy one and while I’m not rested I am relaxed. The kids had the week off for Spring Break so we spent the entire time in Asheville, NC. Monday we hiked the downtown shops and galleries, Tuesday we hiked the Biltmore Estate, Wednesday we took an actual hike in the Dupont State Forest and Thursday we hiked the antique malls and vintage shops (the kid’s favorite!) Every day we returned to the hotel ready to prop up our feet from all the walking but the kids got along, no one got snappy with one another and everyone seemed to have a great time. Today we head on to Atlanta exhausted but satisfied that we got a good look at Asheville and with definite plans to go back. High-five to Spring Break 2016!
Here are a few more high-fives for the week…
1.This above Amber Interiors before and after is perfect(as most of them are!) If you pop over for the full apartment tour you’ll see that it is not a total gut job but mostly a thoughtful change in paint and finishes. So good!
2. Next week is the start of the Spring One Room Challenge with Linda from Calling it Home good thing because my master bedroom needs and will definitely be a challenge.
3. The Land of Nod Launches Limited Edition Charley Harper Collection, I know this collection is meant for kids but there looks like there are a few pieces I’m going to want for myself.
4. This post on the Mid Century Garage Door, these garage doors have some pretty cool graphics.
5. This flooring detail from the Sonoma Bakery in Sydney’s Rose Bay by Blainey North.
Have great weekend,
