It’s Friday again and the year seems to be flying by, it’s almost April already! Spring has is here and at our house this coming week is Spring Break so we are taking off and heading to Asheville, NC. This will be our first visit Asheville but it is only a few hours drive so if we love it we’ll surely be headed back. It looks beautiful from what I’ve seen on the internet and I can’t wait to visit the Baltimore estate, the gardens should be beautiful this time of year. Thanks to a good friend who used to live in Asheville we have a nice list of things to do and places to eat, but we are taking recommendations if you have any. Excited for a little travel to somewhere new, high-five!
Here are a few more high-fives for the week…
1.I love a home that has a lived in, collected look and the apartment above of Virginia Mesiti and Scott Otto Anderson looks like you could move right in.stop by and check out the full home tour and you’ll want to move in too.
2. As a thrifter and collector (possibly hoarder) I love THIS story. Pop over and check out the fascinating photos from the secret trash collection in a New York sanitation garage, interesting to see what people throw away.
3. Singapore-based studio Trigger Design has just launched The Endangered, an adorable animal-based collection of musical jewelry boxes that play upon the senses. Each has its own unique textures, materials, sounds and scents, not to mention they are pretty darn cute!
4. This DIY Wax Paper Backdrop was blogged for a wedding but I think it is so sweet it would be pretty almost anywhere.
5. How about a little retro style with this St. Claire Wood Lamp, I’d switch the shade out for a wider drum but otherwise I kind of want this in my life.
Have a great weekend and Happy Easter,
