Ever have one of those weeks where you just fell kinda crappy? Okay, I know that does not sound like a great intro for a “High-Five Friday” but it’s been one of those weeks. Nothing terribly awful happened it’s just that the little things seem bigger and more things seem to be going wrong until it all adds up to a total melt down. When I feel like this I always wonder if things are really going any worse than usual or if my mood is just more effected by it. I thinks it’s probably the latter because when you step back and take a look at the big picture it really doesn’t matter all that much that we ran late for school or that I forgot to get the groceries I picked up hours ago from out of the car. In the end these annoying little things really don’t add up to much. My family is happy and healthy, that there is food on the table (even if it did sit out in the car an hour or so) and that we have a roof over our heads. For these things I am truly thankful so I’m trying to shake this mood and look forward to next week which will hopefully feel more like a high-five!
Here are few more high-fives for the week…
1.Do you ever run across a photo over and over and it still takes you breath away every time? Well the photo above of Haneens Haven’s, dinning room DIY does that to me every time. I have been crushing on this dark green color for a while now so add that in with some amazing floral wallpaper and I am breathless!
2. Check out the first trailer for ‘Loving Vincent,’ an animated film featuring 12 oil paintings per second by over 100 painters. Pretty amazing! I can’t wait to see the finished product.
3. Nothing better than great lighting, check out Candelabra Home’s Celestianna Chandelier!
4. Want to know where you can get that amazing floral Blazing Poppies Wallpaper, well Anthropologie of course!
5.UK artist Anna Collette Hunt is leading a horde of 10,000 ceramic beetles across gallery walls, each one of her ceramic beetle is an amazing work of art but her exhibit Stirring the Swarm is absolutely beautiful. You can see exactly what I mean HERE.
Have a great weekend,
Alexandra
That top picture is making me drool … and the beetles! Amazing. I always love your Friday posts, but this one was extra stunning. 🙂

Sorry you had a bad week! We did too- a week of cheer tryouts, need I say more? Friday’s make it better though, so relax and have a beer with Chuck tonight!

Thanks Lisa, I think a relaxing weekend will definitely help. I know some of my dull-drums have to do with the deployment coming up which I can’t do anything about but is still hard to ignore. You know how that goes! Hope next week improves for you too.
