I’m running a little late on my post today but I have a really, really good reason. I stayed in bed! Yes that’s right, after I got everyone off to school I got back in bed and slept till 10:30 am. This is a rare occasion for me since I’m usually up at 5:30 am to get the day rolling, most likely finishing up a blog post (like this one) and having a peaceful cup of coffee before the kids get up. I don’t sleep in often but it is nice to take a little break once in a while to just relax and forget about the to-do list for once. Now I’m feeling rested, relaxed and ready to conquer the weekend. High-Five!
Here are a few more high-fives for the week…
1.The photo above is from a colorful eclectic house designed by Ana Donohue Interiors, her use of bright colors and bold art are the key to this home’s amazing personality. How do I get invited over for a tour?
2.How about 116 Amazing Facts for People Who Like Amazing Facts? Did you know Between 1912 and 1948, art competitions were a part of the Olympics. Medals were awarded for architecture, music, painting, and sculpture. Then they went and changed the rules dashing my Olympic dreams!
3. I have always loved Amy Butler fabrics, now I am adding Amy Butler ribbon to the “Awesome” list.
4. In this beautiful little book titled La Culture Physique de la Femme Elegante, published in France in the 1920s, 12 plates offer exercises that a woman could do at home in order to stay fit. I think they need to make a print set of these for sure.
5. I’ve been a fan of The Jungalow by Justina Blakeney for a while and now there is even more Justina to love, Justina Blakeney Wallpaper for Hygge &West. With bold colors and pattern in her signature bohemian style this new line of wallpaper is hard to resist.
Have a great weekend,
