It’s that time again, Pantone recently announced the 2016 color of the year or in this case colors of the year, Rose Quartz and Serenity. This color combination is supposed to fulfill our need for reassurance and security. Together the warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue give a soothing sense of order and peace. Well that’s what Pantone tells me anyway.
As a browsed the web for some great uses of this color combination over and over again I found it used in bedrooms and if there is anywhere I’d like to find peace and security it’s in my bedroom. I think the colors are beautiful separately and together the pairing seems perfect, much more pleasing to my eye than last year’s Marsala.
