Just got back from the great D.C. Adventure with my 5th grader last night and I am exhausted. Five action packed days of touring with 50 parents and 50 fifth graders can take it out of a girl. I have to say, even though I was dreading the trip a bit, it turned out to be a really great time. My roommate (a randomly selected mom I had never met) was awesome, we had a ton in common and were a perfect match. Totally high-five because you know that can go the opposite way just as easily. Thanks Jen for being the best-est roommate ever!
Another high-five is that today is my birthday I turn 41 and am totally good with that especially since my husband let me sleep in after my long trip. He did all the morning routine and the carpool while I got some much-needed sleep, high-five!
Here are a few more high-fives for the week…
1. The living room above styled by Emily Henderson. The post share the before photos of a perfectly nice space but Emily brings on the color, my kind of girl!
2. My husband’s man cave make over is in the running for Apartment Therapy’s Big Reveal contest, if you have the time click over and cast your vote HERE
3. These Textiles and Fashion Design Sketchbooks, I love to see the creative mind at work.
4. Rachel Ashwell’s Shabby-Chic Malibu Trailer, I have always thought a trailer/camper makeover would be so much fun. One small space with lots of potential and the skies the limit.
5. Bonnie and Neil‘s delightful new Melbourne store, a store as colorful as their products.
Have a great weekend,
Megan Cooper
Happy Birthday!! I’m glad you had fun in D.C. and got a break after!
Also, totally loving that living room by Emily Henderson! It makes me want to change my entire décor scheme for my house…
