I shared the almost finished Man Cave but instead of moving on to another big project I am obsessing over replacing that boob light. Yesterday I spent a good chunk of time browsing the options over at Lamps Plus. My goal is to find something fun but at the same time a bit masculine. I have to say I found hundreds that were better than that boob light and quite a few I would love to have in my house. Have a look at the top contenders I’m considering.

I thought I would be totally in love with Number 5 the chrome Sputnik light but I am actually favoring the more industrial looking lights in this room. Number 3 and Number 7 are the top contenders so far and my husband agrees. Which one is you favorite?
I like 1 and 7. 1 would be my absolute favourite if the “cage” was a bit darker, I feel that would work better in that room. So I guess my vote would be for no. 7 … which is strange, because I don’t like lamps where the bulbs a so very visible, but this one is really handsome (and very manly!). 🙂
3 is awesome! However, 7 is great too; I love Edison light bulbs!

#1 would tie in with the round objects in the room like the lamp shades and the lava vases.
#7 reminds me of the antlers, in a good way!
#3 is too busy, imo. You’ve already got a lot going on in the room. Feels like that light would just add more busy?

# 3 is nice but I find the black on it too busy and distracting; # 7 definitely seems to fit the room better.
