The 2015 is here and with the holidays come and gone that means Monday is back to work and back to school, I am the only one that is just a bit excited about this? The holidays are supposed to be a time to relax and spend with family and friends but as a momma they are also a lot of hard work. I have baked cookies galore, wrapped gifts for everyone (sometimes even for myself), carted children to all kinds of parties, channeled my inner Santa Claus, and now well into week two of the school break I have become a full-time referee. Don’t get me wrong I love my family but I won’t be completely sad to see everyone off Monday morning. Then I can spend some (peaceful) quality time scrubbing the floors and folding laundry. High Five for that, and here some I have to share that don’t involve cleaning up the holiday mess…
1. One of my favorite blogs Messy Nessy Chic shared this Hermès Collection circa 1952 from the LIFE archives, photographed by Gordon Parks. Designs over 60 years old and perfectly wearable today.
2. That my house tour made Apartment Therapy’s Best of 2014 International house calls.
3.This Marbled Clay Ring Dish tutorial, so pretty!
4. Is it wrong to be in love with a different pair of shoes each week? If only my shoe budget were endless, these Glendah by Bestey Johnson could be mine…
5. Parris Wakefield Additions Chance Velvet Fabric that is a true work of art.
