As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, this week we were able to spend a wonderful weekend in Lucerne, Switzerland. Since Lucerne, is in the primarily German speaking north-central part of Switzerland I was surprised to see that the architecture looked much more French than German. Every door, balcony and gate was adorned with the most beautiful iron work. (Being from New Orleans I can definitely appreciate some iron work) I just couldn’t stop taking pictures so I figured I should share them with you in case you were wondering if you should be in the market for a trip to Lucerne.
