Today I am participating in fun thrift flip project that is right up myalley!! This fun party is called Swap it Like It’s Hot, and that is just what it is. A group of bloggers get together and find random items at the thrift store which we swap. It’s up to the new owner to transform the thrift score however they choose! The deal is we have no idea what we will be transforming until it arrives in the mail. If you are stopping over from I Am a Homemaker then you already know how the game works so welcome!

A little wood taxidermy deer, a milk jug, a block desk calendar, and a brass jello mold.
Since the faux taxidermy was pretty cute as is and I wasn’t really sure what to do with the jello mold I decided to update the block calendar and milk jug to use on my desk.
It was really just a matter of a bit of spray paint… I threw in some gold to make it fancy!
and some black letter stickers for the text. I used a chalkboard sticker on the milk jug as a label.
Presto change-o I have a sleek new set to put on my desk for just a couple of bucks.
