It’s Friday, High Five! No. 54

Do you ever have so many projects you want to get done that it is paralyzing because you can’t decide which to start first. Since the holidays are over I’ve had that feeling a lot. I have a whole slew of projects that still need to get completed but it is sometimes overwhelming when I think I have to fit them in between the carpool drop off, the grocery store, cleaning the toilet and all those other not so fun everyday chores. So I’m making a very detailed list. At the top of the list – time sensitive items that have a deadline., then projects I need to do for the store, followed by a break down of small, medium, and large projects. Hopefully this will help me choose which projects are most important or do-able in time I have available and keep me from feeling so overwhelmed. High-five to getting some projects done!

Here are a few more high-fives for the week…

1.The High Point Market Spring 2012 Oly showroom by Kate McIntyre and Brad Huntzinger is everything I want in a bedroom, beautiful, serene, and a little bit of fun!

2. I don’t know where this video has been all my life but if you own a duvet cover you MUST watch. Am I the only one who never knew about the “Burrito Method” of putting on a duvet cover? It is total genius!

3. Another one to add to the library Decorating Fearlessly by Susanna Salk.

4. These city skyline rings by Ola Shekhtman available on Etsy at Shekhtwoman.  Wonder if I could commission a New Orleans version? The Superdome would look pretty rocking on a ring.

5. My Instagram friend Dani4816ed home for sale in Breda, Netherlands I want to move in, especially if it comes with the amazing collection of mid-century ceramics and West German pottery.

Have a great weekend,

Maggie

    1. I don’t know Alexandra, I’ve put it on like a pillow case forever and it’s a pain in the ass . I’m willing to give something new a try. I also think the German twin size duvets are much less painful to deal with than a huge American king size.
