Hight Five, It’s Friday!

one-union-of-the-senses-mural-at-one-world-trade-center-1Hello All,

I hope you are pleasantly full of Turkey and had a very happy Thanksgiving. I am in Dresden today seeing one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. I will hopefully have lots to share when I return. But for now it’s Friday so you know that means…friday1. Artist José Parlá’s mural in the lobby of One World Trade Center is just beautiful, Wish I could get this printed on fabric…

2. A lovely green kitchen by Bestor Architecture.

3. Colorful sheep entertaining motorists driving past in West Lothian, Scotland. What a great way to make people smile

4. Maybe they made a fabric out of that mural after all, Premier Prints Ikat Craze Birch Frost

5. This article from Little Green Notebook on vintage rugs that encouraged me to take the plunge this week.

For all my locals: The Christmas season is upon us so that means Christmas markets are gearing up. This week Ansbach and Nurnberg opened their Christmas markets so check one out. If you can’t make it this weekend don’t worry they run until Christmas Eve.

Where I am I headed this weekend? I’m taking a drive to Leipzig (about a 3 hrs.) for what I am told is one of the best flea markets in Germany. It takes place on the last weekend of every month so if you can’t make it this month, maybe next time. I will let you know how it goes…
